Dr.S.Devendra is a graduate in medicine. As Managing Director of Shasun Pharmaceuticals Limited, he was one of the key architects in developing Shasun on a global platform. He was instrumental in transforming Shasun from a domestic seller to an export-oriented Company exporting to the United States and several other countries. He has a wealth of knowledge in marketing, supply chain, licensing & human resources. He has gained a worldwide reputation for his knowledge in Customer Satisfaction, Global Competition, Strategic Thinking & Marketing.

JITESH DEVENDRA - CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Mr. Jitesh has more than 21 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical space covering API and Formulations. He had the opportunity of leading a B2B as well as a B2C business. The core of his experience is B2B focused on Contract Development and Manufacturing plus Out licensing. Jitesh led the North America API business, as well as managed the Formulations P&L business of erstwhile Shasun Pharmaceuticals Limited, which later known as Strides Shasun and now Strides Pharma Science. His efforts have led the Division into new markets in North America; maintained business relationships and introduction of new Products for out-licensing and partnership. Post-Merger, Jitesh has been responsible for P&L business for North America, the United States and Europe Finished Dosage Form (Regulated Markets-Region 1) and overall responsible for API business P&L.

Corporate finance executive over 35 years of experience in building, leading and advising corporations through restructuring, international expansion and corporate strategy. Strong in mergers and acquisition-International take over. Accomplished in structuring and negotiating favourable terms with FI and banks. Leadership approach to achieve improved financial performance, cost optimization and enhanced controls He has partnered across the business that led various projects like SAP implementations, Shared Services for global finance operations. Hari brings experience across Operations Improvements, Treasury, Investor relations, Strategy development and deployment, financial planning & analysis, secretarial and taxation. Hari is a qualified Cost Accountant AICWA (India) with 30+ years of managerial and professional experience. His last held position was as Executive Director Finance & CFO at Solara Active Pharma Sciences Limited. Prior to Solara, he worked in Strides Shasun, Reynolds ,UB Petro and Union Carbide.

Dr. Sampathkumar Devarajan has 24+ years of Product Development Experience. He has worked in Indian Pharma Majors like Ranbaxy (Sun Pharma), Orchid, Panacea Biotec, Shasun, Strides Shasun and Lyrus. He has represented Shasun Pharmaceuticals Limited, in the capacity of Head – CMC for a face to face Pre-IND & Type C meetings with USFDA. He has also represented Shasun for face to face Scientific Advice meetings in the capacity of Head – CMC/Clinical with MHRA-UK, MPA-Sweden, AEMPS-Spain, Health Canada and MEB-Netherlands. He has successfully handled a couple of times United States Courts depositions as a part of Para IV –formulation and Para IV – Polymorph/formulation litigations. He is having inventership of 15 Patents/Patent applications and has 5 Research papers published in reputed journals. He has attended several National/International seminars, workshops and conferences across the United States, Europe and elsewhere.

Sreeni has over 27 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Finish Dosage Forms and Active Pharma Ingredients industry at various disciplines of Manufacturing, Technology Transfer, Project Management in setting up facilities, Quality Assurance, Plant operations and Sales & Marketing. Sreeni did his Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Management from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, KMC, Manipal specialized in Industrial Pharmacy. Sreeni worked with Dr. Reddys, Strides Pharmaceuticals, Murty Pharma Inc, Medreich, Caplin Point,Shasun Pharmaceuticals, Strides Shasun and Solara Active Pharma Sciences Limited. Sreeni’s last assignment in Solara, a Pure Play API manufacturing company as Chief Operating Officer. Sreeni is specialized in Energy Conservation and optimization of operating cost in Pharma industries under the guidance of Tata Energy and Research Institute. His major experience in Finish Dosage Forms as auditee and head of manufacturing plants. As head of manufacturing plants Sreeni has successfully handled several regulatory inspections such as USFDA, TGA, MHRA, WHO including other regulatory agencies in his career.

Mr. Chaitanya has more than 12 years of experience in API & CRAMS business. He has experience of CRAMS and API sales in both regulated and less regulated markets . Chaitanya was managing the P&L of Ibuprofen Business at Solara and his last assignment was leading the CRAMS business. He was instrumental in getting new customers for CRAMS which was started as one of the verticals at Solara. Chaitanya holds an MBA with specialization in Marketing from University of Strathclyde,Glasgow,U.K.

He also had an international assignment with rich experience to International Taxation and Treasury. Prior to Joining Axxelent, he had extensive experience in the Auto ancillary and Pharma Sectors and worked in a renowned organization like HCL Infosystems Limited, Sundaram Clayton Limited, Shasun Pharmaceuticals Limited and ZF WABCO. He also served as a CFO of Caplin Point laboratory Limited.

Senthamil Selvan has 30+ years’ of experience in leading IT in Pharma Industry. He brings experience in leading large IT transformation programs across the organization to digitize manufacturing, laboratory, Plant Maintenance and R&D processes. He did his Masters of Computers Applications and he has been part of the Information Technology journey in Shasun Pharmaceuticals Limited, Strides Shasun Limited, Solara Active Pharma Sciences Limited and Arcolab Private Limited. He has played a key role in digitization and IT harmonization initiatives across sites.

Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce followed by a Post-Graduation Diploma in Business Administration and Post-Graduation Diploma in Marketing Management. Worked with Dabur India Ltd., Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., Neo Pharma LLC., Shasun Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Gland Pharma, Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd., and Medreich Ltd. Shaik has over 25 Years of experience in Pharma Industries and currently responsible for the quality governance of the entire organization. He is specialized in Quality Management Systems, Analytical Research, Testing and inspection, Lab operations, Audit and compliance, Training & Development and Automation. He is well conversant with pharmacopeia standards like USP, Ph. Eur, and BP. He is a postgraduate in Organic Chemistry from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. He has worked with Sanmar Speciality Chemicals, Cipla, Dr. Reddys, Actavis Pharma, Shasun Pharma (Strides-Shasun), and Steril-Gene Life Sciences. His last assignment was with LIFE Pharma FZE, Dubai, UAE, where he was the General Manager and Head of Quality. He has handled various regulatory and customer inspections and has successfully led many international regulatory audits like USFDA, UK-MHRA, WHO-Geneva, SA-MCC, Brazil-Anivisa, TGA Australia, EU & other regulatory agencies.

His previous roles include positions at Strides Arcolab, Malaysian Pharmaceutical Industries - Malaysia, and GSK Consumer Pvt Ltd.
