• Functional materials are based on water-soluble hot melt Hydrophilic polymers such as polyethylene glycol or Amphiphilic excipients such as Poloxamers, Lecithin, PEG esters or water-dispersible thixotropic systems of pharmaceutical oils with thixotropic additives or Lipophilic excipient such as Glycerol Stearate, Glycol Stearate, Isopropyl myristate, Ethyl oleate, Stearic acid, Laurie acid, Palmitic acid, Oleic acid, Oleic acid, Cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol are suitably formulated with Drug and inert excipients for easy solid processing. This processed material is blended with additional suitable inert excipients and filled in capsules or compressed into tablets.
• This technology shall be applied to promote the dissolution of poorly water-soluble drugs using solid solutions or solid dispersions techniques.
• Based on need basis, we can also Modified Drug Release by incorporating suitable retard excipients in the formulations.
